Dear, stalwart Sue. She, along with Morley and Fod, was not just a neighbor and friend, but an institution nurturing curiosity, creativity and compassion for animals. As word of her passing filters out, people all across this country and doubtless in some far corners of the globe, will experience the sudden rising, like a flock of beautiful birds, of countless long-quiet, but still warm and cherished memories of time spent at the Bailey house, and the belonging that waited there for all comers. With a full heart, my condolences to the entire extended Bailey family.
