Kathleen was born, raised, schooled and resided most of her life in Shadyside. She enjoyed its book stores, cooking classes, shopping, dining and with her being naturally curious and always being able to stay in the moment she spoke to whomever she met as if they were already good friends. She attended Sacred Heart Grade School and High School and remained lifelong friends with many of her classmates. Kathleen started her career as a travel agent where she discovered her love of travel. She worked at Carnegie Mellon University and was so bright and such an avid reader it made the classes interesting and enjoyable. Most of Kathleen’s career was as a legal secretary. Kathleen loved to laugh which made it easy to laugh along with her. We all will forever love you Kathleen and will miss your dancing Irish eyes.
