It seems that Betty has been a sister-in-law forever. She was to Bernie through the first 10 years of his first marriage, and has been to both of us through our 48 years of marriage. We've shared births, baptisms, weddings, first communions, deaths, and a whole lot more. We've laughed and cried, and shared many a good meal together. We will miss her terribly.!!!! But I will NOT miss climbing all those steps to get to her door. They were dreadful. Mike, Deb, John, Linda and Sue, even though we are 3000 miles away, we will always be your Uncle and Aunt and you can always reach out to us!!!
