Obituary of Maria Teresa Liberto

Liberto Maria Teresa (Castellano) Peacefully on Sunday, August 21, 2016, age 86, of Highland Park. Beloved wife of the late Agostino Liberto; mother of Concetta Liberto (Gianpiero Lobianco), Lisa Liberto and Santo Liberto; grandmother of Davide Lobianco; daughter of the late Giuseppe Castellano and Elisabetta Didiano; sister of the late Giuseppe Castellano (Lisa Pietropaolo) and Caterina Castellano (survived by Domenico Labate); also preceded in death by her first born, also named Santo. Maria Teresa was born in Maierato (VV) Calabria, Italy and emigrated to Pittsburgh in 1969. She will always be remembered as a kind, caring, giving soul. Friends received at McCabe Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 6214 Walnut Street, Shadyside, on Wednesday and Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where Funeral will commence on Friday at 10:30 am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Raphael Church at 11:30 am. Entombment to follow in Allegheny Cemetery.
