Obituary of Elisa Fusca
On Tuesday, May 3, 2022, Elisa Fusca, age 88, of Indiana Township was called to meet our heavenly father. Elisa was born in Maierato, Calabria, Italy where she met and married her husband of 63 years, the late Antonio Fusca. She is the mother of three loving children, Frank Fusca, Martha Aggazio and Joanne Bosilovic (Robert) as well as eight grandchildren, Michael Fusca and the late Maria Fusca, Antonio Aggazio, Phillip Aggazio, and Mary Aggazio, and Elisa Cardosi (Joe), Robert Bosilovic III, and Alexis Bosilovic. She is the great grandmother of Riley Fusca, and Jack, Nina and Victor Cardosi. Elisa was preceded in death by her parents, Giuseppe and Giovanna Barbieri and siblings Paul Barbieri (Emma Jean), Teresa Malta (Gregory), Nicola Barbieri (Filomena), Concetta Febbraro (survived by Gesue); also survived by her loving sister Mary Grace Distilo (the late Gregorio) and brother Joseph Barbieri (Vincie). Elisa’s passion was her family and her talents were many. They included knitting, crocheting, baking, and cooking. She was a devout Catholic, attending mass daily and actively celebrated the Feast of St. Anthony where each year she and her sister Mary Grace baked bread and distributed it to the parishioners. Elisa’s family constantly expressed their love for her and she would tenderly reply, “I love you more than you know”. Her words of affection will be sorely missed. Elisa’s family would like to thank the staff of Good Samaritan Hospice House, Wexford for their devoted care in her final days. Friends received at McCabe Bros., Inc.
