My condolences to Amy and to all of Jim's family. As a colleague of Jim's at Community College of Beaver County, we worked together on many projects, including the editing of our College literary magazine. I was a new addition to the faculty in 1987, and Jim was one of the people who gave me a friendly welcome and useful advice. As was always in evidence when we selected works for publication, Jim put our students first, trying to get as many works into an edition as possible. We shared some similar approaches in our teaching, and our love of literature led to good office discussions. I can't share this journey you are on just yet, Jim, but I wish you well.
