Obituary of Patrick J. O'Rorke

Patrick J. O’Rorke Of Munhall, on January 15, 2022, age 85. He was the beloved husband of Jean O’Rorke. Cherished father of Erin O’Rorke Hadrian (Rod). Loving grandfather to Connor, Logan and Emma Hadrian. Brother of the late Thomas (Catherine) and Martin O’Rorke (Rosemary.) Uncle to Tom, Mike, Magdalyn, John, Robert, Ann, Maura, Brian, and Barry O’Rorke. Stepfather to Sharon Abbott and Susan Lamb. Patrick attended St Lawrence O’ Toole Grade School. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and St. Vincent’s University, where he received his education from the Benedictine Priests. Patrick played football in high school and college. He was an avid Notre Dame University fan and never missed a televised game. He loved history and avidly studied his family’s ancestry here and in Ireland. He loved to travel and take long road trips. When he was young, he spent each summer on his family’s farm near Altoona, PA, the home of some of his fondest memories. He greatly valued education and always stressed the importance of study with his daughter and grandchildren. Friends received at McCabe Bros., Inc, Funeral Home, 6214 Walnut Street, Shadyside on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
