We are so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. Bill worked for Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus on Wednesdays & Saturdays for 15 years. He was a valuable asset to our team. Patients would come in and ask for him only. Bill & Nancy were the life of our Christmas parties with their festive holiday outfits.

Our condolences to Bill’s family. We ask God to give you strength to get through this difficult time. We have made a donation to Wounded Warriors to honor Bill’s life, and his service to our country.

Mr McClements was so special to those of us who had the privilege to care for him at the VA in Pittsburgh.

He had a exemplary and cheery attitude and was always trying to put other Veterans at ease and to allay their fears. He was uniformly optimistic and rarely mentioned his personal battles to them. He never dwelled on negative news and uplifted us all. He was blessed with a keen wit and sense of humor and he had a deep understanding of science and technology. He always spoke about his family with great reverence and love.

He told me endearing stories about his work in Georgia and the many dangerous snakes and animals that he encountered. We loved him and would be excited when he came in as an outpatient. So sorry to learn of his passing. He was a great guy.

My wife and I were saddened to hear of Buzzy's passing. Our deepest sympathy to you his family. May the Lord give you peace and comfort during this difficult time. I went to Liberty school and Peabody and first met Buzzy at Liberty school. He was a year or two ahead of me in school. It wasn't until later as we found Buzzy as an optician when we got to know him. We went to him for our glasses for years until he retired. We shared the memories of Shadyside with each visit.

Very sorry to hear of the loss of Buzzy. I knew Buzzy many years ago. He was always someone who cared and tried to help where he could. I had a medical issue when a tree fell in my yard. I didn't have the tools or ability to take care of it. A couple days later I found the tree all cut up and the ground cleaned up. It was Buzzy. He helped us out several times too with getting glasses for our son. He was a real peach and a character. God rest your soul Buzzy.
