Obituary of Joanne Vivirito

Vivirito JoAnne Of Stanton Heights on Friday, May 7, 2021, age 79. Beloved mother of Francis A. Vivirito and Richard A. Vivirito (Susan Shearer Vivirito); grandmother of Lauren and Olivia Vivirito; sister of John Vivirito (Beverly), Andrew Vivirito (Jean), Thomas Vivirito (Kathi) and the late Virginia Killian (the late Leonard); also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. JoAnne was a forty-year member of the St. Raphael’s Folk group. In retirement, she enjoyed working with the children at the St. Raphael afterschool program and was a member of the Morningside Bocce League. Friends received at McCabe Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 6214 Walnut Street, Shadyside on Monday, from 9 am to 10:15 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jude Parish, St. Raphael Church at 11 am. Masks, social distancing and occupancy limits will be required at the funeral home and church due to CDC rules currently in place. The Mass will be livestreamed and can be viewed by going to the parish website at www.saintjudepgh.org/streaming.
