Of Stanton Heights, formerly of Garfield and Lawrenceville, on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, age 63. Beloved husband of Colette Burkhart Balzer; son of Geraldine Balzer (the late Thomas); father of Thomas R. Balzer and Matthew R. Balzer (fiancé Antonella Macerelli); grandfather of Janaye, Skyla, Matthew and Paisley; brother of Suzie McMeekin (Barry), Timothy Balzer (Andrea), Edward Balzer (Jacqueline) and the late James Balzer; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends received at McCabe Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 5300 Penn Avenue, Bloomfield on Sunday, 2-8 pm, where a family service will be held on Monday at 11 am.
