Obituary of Irvin C. Moten

Moten Irvin C. Of Shadyside on Saturday, December 26, 2020, age 87. Beloved wife of the late Melvin N. Moten; mother of Natalie R. Moten of Anchorage, AK, Melvin N., Jr. and Nancy R. Moten, both of Pittsburgh; sister of Dolores Whitt and Mary Gregory; also survived by generations of nieces and nephews. Irvin was an extremely talented professional seamstress and her works have been sold all over the world. She enjoyed her work in childcare and was an arts and crafts hobbyist. She will be interred with her husband Melvin at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Diabetes Foundation.
