A devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather; loved by many and known by more. Richard was dedicated to helping anyone in need, setting the example of respect for others not only to his children but all who he met. He was a listener, an attribute of a great person, who offered advice when asked. Richard was there when our friend, Ralph, was working on the Birmingham Bridge, trying desperately to save Ralph’s leg. Richard was, as they say, one in a million.
