Condolences
Lisa, Danielle, Paige and all of Jeff’s family -
We are deeply saddened by Jeff’s passing. Jeff was an incredible person who did much to support the City, the Region and EMS overall. Jeff was one of the most respected professionals in the public safety community, always leading, always teaching, always helping. His cheerful demeanor and positive outlook were infectious and easily spread to those around him. He leaves an enormous void that cannot be filled. Please accept our most sincere condolences.
From the Staff at EMS West.
My sincere sympathies to the family of Jeff. It was an honor to work with him at Pittsburgh EMS. He was a great medic but he was greater as a person. May he be at peace in everlasting life.

Lisa, Danielle and Paige,
You guys have been great next door neighbors to my grandma Dorothy and Aunt Ruth. Jeff always looked out for them with all of their health issues. My family and I will always appreciate that more than you'll know. He was a great man. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Lisa,
I didn't know your husband but reading his story here shows what a huge loss this is for you and your family and the city. I am truly sorry for your loss.
Tom (Brown - CHP Informatica Team)
Lisa, remembering Jeff back in our days at CHP ER. He was always professional and good to talk to. You both were a team in raising a family and in life. He fought the fight til he could no more. He is now in Peace with our Lord, Jesus Christ. May you and your girls be comforted and may Jeff Rest In Peace.
Jeff was also a member of the Pittsburgh Critical Incident Stress Management team and served his peers after they experienced critical events. He was admired by all and there will be a void that can not be filled by his passing. He always tried to make the best of every circumstance. I too will miss his light heartedness. Erica Diethorn

Lisa and family, sending hugs in your time of need. He will forever remain in your heart. Janet Hafer
We had the first Pittsburgh EMS motorcycle cardiac arrest save together in 1999. We are friends and shared treatment plans and results about our cancers. I will miss you my friend and I will always cherish the details we worked together, the stories you shared about your daughters, the things that you have done to make Pittsburgh EMS a proud place to work, and of course all the funny stories you told.
