I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Bill. Your parents (and the whole family) meant the world to me. It makes me smile knowing he’s with his Ellybaby.
All my thoughts, prayers and love for the whole family.
I am so sorry to read about your loss. I remember Bill Nickel since I was a little boy. Bill’s mom Mildred and my grandfather Bill were brother and sister. I remember Bill Nickel as one of the nicest guys I have ever known. A gentle giant. Even as a young boy I remember his wife Elenor had the beautiful blue eyes. What a great couple.
I also remember seeing them on occasion where Bill's mother and a number of her sisters lived on South Graham. We knew them as “ the aunts”. What a delightful and generous group they were.
I have many fond memories of your family. What great stock you come from. I am so pleased to see their progeny has grown and prospers.
My sincerest condolences to you all,
Bill Begley

Mary Beth and the Nickel Family, I extend my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your Dad. He and your Mom did a wonderful job of raising a great family. Edgerton Ave. certainly benefited from their kindness and hard work.
Please accept our condolences from the entire Corcoran family, neighbors of the Nickels on Edgerton Ave for many years. Mr. Nickel and his wife left a wonderful legacy. Rest in Peace. From Eileen, Noreen, Chrissie, and Peter Corcoran & families.
