Condolences
To the pirollo family you have my condolences. Paul was a great human being. He was my barber for 68 years.since he was on omega st. He cut 4 generations of our family's hair. You will be missed my friend. Tony lollo.
Rob & family, so sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. This is such a difficult time overall, but to add a parent’s death is a heavier burden. I sincerely hope that your happy memories of shared times can give you some solace.

Paul was my barber for more than 30 years, even after my move from Highland Park. Paul lived a rough life in Italy and therefore showed compassion and empathy for others after he moved to the United States. I enjoyed our political discussions during haircuts and how he could be moved to anger at social injustice. Paul was a prince of a man.
I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the Pirollo family. My father, Eros Yon, always spoke very highly of Paul and considered him a good friend. My father, sadly, was in a nursing home prior to his death in May of 2013. Paul was among a VERY small group of people that stopped at the nursing home to visit him. I'll never forget Paul's kindness. A real gentleman. God Bless you at this difficult time.
With Sympathy

I discovered Paul as a barber about 4 years before he closed the shop and looked forward to my visits and talks with him. His memories of childhood in war-torn Italy and living in caves outside of his village to avoid the bombs, always captured my attention fully. We had many excellent political discussions about politics with many common views held regarding the futility of war and our need to build a just and fair world. My last memory of him was accidentally bumping into him at Kennywood's Italian Days a couple of years ago when we were both pleasantly surprised to see each other and hugged as if we were brothers. My condolences. Mel Packer
I am truly sorry to hear of Paul's passing away. I regarded Paul as a friend. He started cutting my hair in 1969 on Sheridan Ave. No one else cut my hair until after he was forced to retire in 2017. I live just up the hill from Paul in Allison Park. I always threatened Paul I would show up at his house to get my haircut when he retired. I took my father to Paul once for a haircut, my son got his haircut by Paul and he took his son to Paul for a haircut. Four generations, not bad. Miss you Paul.
My family depended on Paul for haircuts for over 40 years. It was always a pleasure to chat with Paul and catch up with neighborhood news . He was truly a CLASS ACT. I will miss you my friend.
Rest In Peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. Me, my father and my brothers went to his shop on Sheridan Avenue for many, many years. He had great comic books! Always immaculately dressed, he was a wonderful barber and an even better person and friend. A true gentleman. Paul was respected, loved and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. He will have a line outside his door when he re-opens his barber shop in heaven. May he rest in peace and may God bless.
