Condolences
This was a very lovely video about Auntie Kay's life. It was fascinating to see all the photos and what a great talent she was. I'm sorry I didn't get to know her better.
We are deeply saddened by the news of Ka Yuen's sudden passing. Just like her, she leaves us quietly. Our deep condolence goes to you and your family. May God comfort you particularly at this moment. We met Ka Yuen mainly in many of your family gatherings. Later Ka Yuen went to the same church with us. And she had worked shortly in YumWok. On all occasions, We remembered Ka Yuen was always polite and had her smiles. She was usually quietly watching people talking but if we initiated the talk with her, she will keep up pretty well. She had amazing artistic talent. May memories of the fun you shared with Ka Yuen brings you gentle comfort. We sure missed her. David & Eva
We are saddened by the news of Ka Yuen’s passing. Our profound and warm condolences to her family. It was an honor for us to have known Ka Yuen through your family gatherings throughout the years. We will remember her by her gentle smiles, her unassuming demeanor, and her artistic talent. Her lovely and sensitive artwork will be cherished by all.

The news of Ka Yuen's passing came as a shock and saddened me. Though I did not know her well and only began to know her better in the last few years, she impressed me as being a quiet, gentle, and kind person without any complaining or hurting word. She did not reveal much of herself, so I was not aware that she was so artistic. Her art works were beautiful and her Lau family portrait was certainly something to be cherished. It is a lovely video with all the precious family photos and Ka Yuen's amazing art pieces that KS and Eveline have created in her memory. May she rest in peace.

I was so shocked to learn of Ka-Yuen passing. Watching the Memorial Video was very nice, it painted a complete picture of her with her beloved and caring family through her life. She was indeed a hidden talent and her sketches of the grand nephews and grand nieces and other family members will be cherished. I remember all the dinners at KS and Eveline's house, and the Cantonese Club Chinese New Year dinners that she participated in. May she rest in the Lord's peace, beside her parents.

Just finished watching the nicely made video and thanks for letting me walk in the Memory Lane of Ka Yuen.
One thing that impressed me is all the joy and the love in the family around her.
She never boasted her talent and I was glad to finally see some of her accomplishments towards the end of the video.
She was so talented and mastered so many different styles.
Thank you for letting me participate in some of the family activities and got to know her over the years.
She will remain in my memory.
May she rest in peace with her parents now.

I still remembered her as a fun loving young girl in Hong Kong. She loved to draw and sing, and hang around Mom and Dad all the time. I left HK, while she was a teenager. I regret that I was never real close to her. She had a tough life, suffering from mental health and struggling most of life alone. She was good at heart, and borne no ill-will against anyone. It is good to know that she is now resting peacefully alongside Mom and Dad. ( Ka-Ming)
She was always generous in nature, each time we meet, she never complained, even all the bad hands life dealt to her. She never complained of anyone or any situations. I respected her for that. Ka-Yuen, Rest In Peace. You will always in my heart. (Carol)
These past 6-7 years seemed to be the best of times in Ka-Yuan's life, after having moved to her most recent apartment. She went to work almost everyday, church on Sunday and drawing classes once or twice a week. Ka-Yuen expressed to me how much she enjoyed following the show “American got talent”. Ka-Yuen took great delight in seeing who would be the champion ; this was the first time my sister expressed what gave her pleasure. Last Christmas Ka Yuen committed to visit me in HK . She had already obtained the needed passport. However, she was not able to ascertain two consecutive weeks of vacation. She intended to come this year.
Ka-Yuen had the hardest life among all our brothers and sisters. I wish her she peace in joining Mom and Dad in Heaven. She will always be remembered. ( Ka-Chung)
