I am so sorry to have Edna gone. I thought that she would live forever... She always greeted you with a smile and then it was so very nice to see the decorations that she always had by her front door. I will also miss Denise since she will not be around much now here in the Mews where I live. I am glad that Edna hardly suffered but that doesn't make it any easier for you all. I hope that you continue having the family dinners.

I have very fond memories of Edna. I was her family physician for many years prior to my retirement. She was one of my favorite patients. She always made me smile even when she was "fired up" about something. She seldom complained but always made her wishes quite clear. She was so proud of the Sunday tradition and the fact that she continued to host dinner well into her 90's. It was patients and friends like Edna that made being a family doc such a wonderful experience. I am only disappointed that I couldn't see her through to the finish line. She will be missed.
