Condolences
Dear Hnat Family -
I am just now finding out about Kathleen's passing. She was a very brave soul who had obviously created, and earned, a tremendous amount of love in her life. As sad as her situation could seem, it was a privilege to share a few moments with her in the acupuncture room as she battled for a miracle. What a fighter! I was, and remain, in awe.
That also goes for Drew, whose dedication was a sight to see.
Wishing peace and love to Kathleen and all of you.
Yours truly,
Josh Zimmer, ap/dom

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Kathy. She was an amazing women and such a caring and loving wife and mother. I admired and respected Kathy so much. She was always an inspiration to me as a woman, wife and mother. Thinking of all of you. I had hoped in our lifetimes, brain cancer would be cured. It took my dad from me when he was in his late 40's and I was in my early 20's. I will continue to support the cause.

I was privileged to call Kathy my good friend for over 15 years. We meet when my son played soccer with Corey. Kathy was that rare lady that made those around her better people. As neighbors Kathy and I saw each other several times a week as we shared the triumphs and trials of raising teenagers. Kathy’s wisdom and expertise as a mom were an inspiration and encouragement to me. She and Drew raised three awesome kids! Kathy was definitely the heart of their home. One highlight for my family will always be our trip to Europe in the summer of 2008. Kathy always faced life’s challenges through her filter of strong faith. Kathy’s sweet spirit will be missed although I know I will see my dear friend again one day....
Drew, Jason, Kaitlyn and Corey.... I am so sad and my heart breaks for you all. I’m so thankful that I got to visit with Kathy last fall as they visited Charlotte. What a very special lady she was. I do have lots of memories of Kathy bringing you kids by your dads office when I worked for him.
But most of all, I have a “throw” that Kathy gave me about 25 years ago that she cross stitched on and I keep it out, so this morning , I shed a tear as i saw it and thought of Kathy. What a keepsake I have.
Love and prayers to all.
RIP Sweet Kathy!!
As a lifelong friend of Kathy's husband, going back 50 years, I met Kathy but a few times. When I did, it was evident that my buddy and his wife raised an awesome family and she and Drew complemented one another well in marriage.
My heartfelt condolences to family and friends. It's obvious that Kathy's life was well-lived, as a wife, mother and event planner. She made ESPN and related shows look good! A big-time shout out to her and the family for bringing light to the plight of brain cancer-related disease.
Rest in Peace Kathy. Arizona Love from "Klein-Hands" (aka "The Encourager")
