Condolences
Dear Joe & Boys,
Today I was cleaning out a drawer and came across a letter patty had written to me, a little over a year ago...I kept it out planning on writing to her tomorrow..then I had a thought out of nowhere to goggle her name, and found her obit...I'm stunned.
She explained to me in her letter about her treatments....how excited she was about her boys getting married...the babies...
So today, I'm sending you all my most heart felt condolences and love...

Dear Family of Patty Schlicht,
My husband and I are friends of Kerri and Mike. We are very saddened to learn about Patty's passing. We had the opportunity to meet Patty in Philadelphia for Mike's graduation party. I recall having a lively and long conversation with Patty and her sister, and the time just flew. We share our condolences and love with Patty's entire family.

My condolences Joe to you and your entire family. Wonderful souls are apparent and make those around them immediately comfortable and warm. I didn't meet Patty many times but when I did this is what I felt. And it is not surprising to me that through your partnership this wonderful light would be passed along to others. You have always been wonderful to me and I just hope that you can remember all of the beautiful times you both shared and to be confident that she is now at peace.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4.

Rose and I are mourning with the Quinn Family for the loss of Patricia. We had the honor of meeting her at Jim and Ashley's wedding in Oklahoma City. Even with this brief meeting, we saw her as warm, generous and fun person and we said to ourselves, "That's why Jim is such a genuinely good guy."
Peace be with Patricia.
Bob and Rose.
Our deepest sympathy to all of you. Patty was a jewel and we were proud and honored to know her from Mckeesport and our Duquesne years. George and Georgeanne, and Patty's husband and children and grandchildren, and the siblings we didn't know, please know we are praying for your healing and peace. You are in our hearts.
On behalf of the Sisters of Tau Delta Tau, we send our deepest condolences to Patty's family and friends. A generous donation will be made to the Patricia Schlicht Endowed Scholarship Fund at Duquesne University in honor of Patty and the joy and memories she gave us all. Rest in Peace dear sister.
Patty, as my "big sister" in the sorority, you guided me through my early days at Duquesne and helped me connect with a group of outstanding women, many of whom remain close friends today. I feel fortunate, blessed, and privileged to have reconnected with you over the past several years. The request for donations to the "Patricia Schlicht Endowed Scholarship Fund at Duquesne University is "so" you..always giving, yet standing your ground, and filling the room with your laughter and light. That laughter, no doubt, will continue to resound in the hearts of those close to you, and your light will endure as a bright and loving memory of a life well lived. Rest in peace dear friend.
To Joe and the boys, and to Georgeanne, George, Peggy and John and all the family I send my deepest condolences. I cannot begin to imagine the loss you are feeling. Hugs and love...
George and I are so sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of working with her in Staff Development at Montefiore, those were some of the best years of our lives! So much fun and laughter and comraderie. She will be missed!
