Helen P. (Colazzi)

Age 93, formerly of Highland Park, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019.  Beloved wife of the late Samuel J. Papa; loving mother of Samuel L. (Miriam) Papa, Diana (Mike) Perzel, Darlene Papa, Marilyn Constable and the late Barbara and Robert Papa; daughter of the late Luigi and Esther Colazzi; grandmother of thirteen and the late Gary and Robert Papa; great-grandmother of sixteen; sister of the late Anna Citriniti, Mary Columbus, Jean Knapp and Margaret Colazzi.  Helen worked for Joseph Horne Company and Lazarus-Macy’s Department Store for many years.  She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino and watching Sunday afternoon football games, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Friends received at McCabe Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 6214 Walnut Street, Shadyside on Thursday, February 7^th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where funeral will commence on Friday, February 8^th at 9 am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Raphael Church at 10 am.  Condolences may be left at www.mccabebrothers.com
