I wanted to send my condolences on the death of your beloved Tony. I thought you might like to hear of my very fond and respectful memory of him. About 36 years ago he made a beautiful driveway for my home in Mt. Lebanon.
He came, worked quietly, doggedly for about a week. All by himself. There hadn't been a driveway at the house prior to his arrival. It was just grass....a hill...and dirt. He used a shovel, a pick and a wheel barrow. He slowly, diligently and methodically dug and moved, and measured out, and framed up the space. He transferred all of the dirt to a garden that I was beginning in the back yard. In the end he left a beautiful cement driveway that remains, to this day, in perfect condition. Thirty six years. I can still see him out there working so hard, proudly, quietly. It left such an indelible impression upon me. I've spoken about him with the utmost respect ever since. I will always honor that example of how to live and work.
Again, my deepest sympathies for your great loss.
