Unexpectedly on Friday, June 8, 2018, age 60, formerly of Bloomfield.  Beloved mother of Crystal L. Monaghan (Shawn); sister of Ronald E. Bracken (Joyce) and the late Joyce A. Ondof (survived by Anthony); daughter of the late Edward and Marcella Bracken; niece of the late Samuel Schmetzer.  Karen was a dedicated receptionist at Phipps Conservatory for over 15 years.  Friends received at McCabe Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 5300 Penn Avenue, Bloomfield on Tuesday, 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where Funeral will commence on Wednesday at 9 am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Paul Cathedral at 10 am.  Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Sharps Hill.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Karen’s name to The American Heart Association.  Condolences may be left at www.mccabebrothers.com
