We are sorry for your loss and offer our heartfelt condolences. AlmightyGod promises at John 5:28, 29 that there will be a resurrection for all of those in his memory. May that promise, and the resurrection of Lazarus (John 11:41-44) give you faith, comfort and hope. Again, our condolences.

Im so very sorry for the Family's loss at this time and I would really like to share my condolences with them. But please take note of what Jesus Christ had spoken about in John 5 :28,29 in which we find him here giving us a future promise of him resurrecting our dear loved ones who have fallen asleep in death, but will be awakened in the future, by Jesus Christ. But not only that, when they are brought back to life, they wil be given the opportunity to live forever on a paradise earth, like it was in the Garden of Eden. And the proof of that is found in the Bible book of Psalm 37:29 in which it reads: The righteous will possess the earth and they will live forever on it. My heart is broken to know that one of my favorite young men has passed from this earth. He and his brothers are like sons to me. My own son passed away early in 2018 so that my perspective on DJ's death is colored by the emotion that is attached to losing a son and a dear friend.

DJ's mother and dad are best friends as well and there is no compensation for losing ones' child. It will live with us until the end of our lives. As Christians we are blessed with the soft touch of Jesus and His father. Taking our sons into His Heavenly kingdom comforts each and all of us to know that neither son is in pain, has no physical discomfort, and will never suffer again.

I've been thinking about DJ since I learned of his passing. There were so many things that I loved about him. He had an incredible love for music and humor; he had a passion for his family members. And, he always called his mom and me "the dynamic duo". To know him was to love him. Thanks be to God.
