Of Stanton Heights on Saturday, September 23, 2017, age 85.  Beloved wife of the late Alphonso X. Donalson; daughter of the late Rev. Dock and Jessie Johnson Pugh; she is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.  Family and friends received at McCabe Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 6214 Walnut Street, Shadyside on Tuesday, 2-4 and 6-8 pm.  Funeral Service will be held at East Liberty Presbyterian Church on Wednesday at 11 am, followed by light refreshments.  Ruth was an accomplished pianist and taught in Pittsburgh Public Schools for many years.  THOSE WISHING TO ATTEND, PLEASE GATHER AT THE CHURCH.  Interment to follow at Allegheny Cemetery. www.mccabebrothers.com
