Obituary of James Robert Balzer

Balzer James Robert Of Aspinwall, formerly of Garfield, on Sunday, November 27, 2016, age 53. Beloved father of Breanna B. Mack (Justin), Jimmy C. Balzer and Kayleigh E. Balzer; grandfather of Aiden, Bailey, Carter and McKinnley Mack; son of Thomas H. and Geraldine A. Balzer; brother of Thomas P. Balzer (Colette), Suzan McMeekin (Barry), Timothy R. Balzer (Andrea) and Edward “Buddy” Balzer (Jacqueline); beloved friend of Marcellina Hoskowicz; also survived by nieces and nephews. Jim was a scheduling supervisor at the Duquesne Club, where he will be dearly missed. His children will miss his culinary efforts in the kitchen. Friends received at McCabe Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 5300 Penn Avenue on Thursday, 2-8 pm, where Funeral will commence on Friday at 9 am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Maria Goretti Church, Friendship Campus at 10 am. Interment private.
